Terms of service

Last updated October 19, 2026. These terms apply to your use of Site Unison. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

Site Unison is construction project management software provided online at siteunison.ca. We may improve, change or add features over time. We will give reasonable notice before removing a significant feature from a paid plan.

Accounts

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password confidential. The person who creates a company is its owner and is responsible for the people they invite and the plan they choose. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.

Plans, trials and payment

The Free plan is free with the limits shown on the pricing page. New companies receive a 14-day Elite trial. Pro and Elite are billed per seat, monthly or yearly, in advance, in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes, through our billing partner Ravalak Web Solutions using Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can change seats or cancel at any time in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and paid periods are not refunded except where required by law.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide the service to you and your team. You are responsible for having the right to upload it.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Site Unison for anything unlawful or to upload content you do not have the right to share.
  • Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts.
  • Do not resell the service or use it to build a competing product.

Availability and support

We work to keep Site Unison available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Support is provided by email and in the app.

Limitation of liability

Site Unison is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not replace professional judgement, contract documents, or legal and safety obligations. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or fail to pay. Before closing an account for non-payment we will give notice and a chance to export your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
