Who we are
Site Unison ("we", "us") provides construction project management software at siteunison.ca. Subscriptions and payments are administered by Ravalak Web Solutions. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@siteunison.ca.
We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
- Account information: name, work email, company, phone (optional) and a hashed password.
- Project content: the drawings, photos, documents, tasks, forms and other records you and your team upload. Photos may include date, time and location if you choose to stamp them.
- Billing information: plan, seats and billing contact. Card details are collected by Stripe and are never stored by us.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type and basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email or in-app support.
How we use it
- To provide the service, including sign-in, notifications and the features you use.
- To process subscriptions, invoices and receipts.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To improve Site Unison using aggregated, non-identifying usage information.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your project content for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Site Unison, and only as needed: our hosting provider, Stripe for payments, Ravalak Web Solutions for licensing and billing administration, and our email delivery provider. Each is bound to protect it.
Inside Site Unison, project content is visible to the people your company adds to the project. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep account and project information while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete project content within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons. You can export your projects before closing.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your profile in the app at any time. You may ask us for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@siteunison.ca. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell account owners by email.
